Well I suppose it's been quite some time since I last posted, more than 2 years! For anyone wondering, I am still alive! I suppose I just moved away from model kits as my active hobby - so that's to say I imagine I will definitely pick it up at another point in my life. The closest thing to it for me recently has been working on my car (shown above). Learning how to follow instructions, being creative when those let me down, and ultimately masking my many mistakes are all skills that I honed doing Gunpla. I guess I sort of treat it like a big model kit sometimes... That being said, I would very much like to work on a model car styled after my own. So I'm sure that might be the thing that breathes life into this blog again.
Also I have some Gundam kits that I want to finish too (new ones as well - random Stargazer HG kit, and oh so many great RG kits to pick up one day). Sinanju is worth finished up, as well as Sazabi, Shin Musha too!
Til then, thanks to all readers - the ones that followed by projects way back then and to all the randoms that stumbled upon me. I did it for you guys.

|Picked this up from a local hobby store. Haven't tried Tamiya's line of spray finishes, I've only used Mr. Hobby's Topcoat in the past. This one here I think is the equivalent of a gloss Topcoat (there's a flat Tamiya too, maybe even a semi-gloss). |
So, has anyone tried these sprays from Tamiya? I'm curious to know how they stack up to the infamous (since now mostly unavailable in the US) Topcoat. Of course, I could just try it out myself, but that will have to wait for now (I need a suitable model to test it on). I hope it's good, cause then I'd have a renewable and cheaper replacement for Topcoat!
